Coastland Update...Update...Update By Steve Sjogren |

Hello Coastland Folks! I know you have been waiting with anticipation for news as to "What's Next?" with the big picture of what is going on with the outworking of Coastland.
I have received many calls, emails - even a few carrier pigeons (that's new for me - pretty efficient, but slow to carry on a back and forth conversation!)
First, I trust you received an explanatory email from me from about two weeks ago. In that I gave each of you a pretty good overview of what has been, where we are, where we are going. If you did not receive this, let me know and I will send that. At that time, a personal letter was sent to each of you as well. As odd as it seems, none of the letters sent have been received by all who were sent one! (If you are not certain that we have your mailing address, please double check on this by sending me your best mailing address - better to be redundant than for us not to have that info).
Second, we are starting Sunday gatherings again! Next Sunday, May 18th, we will get together at the Sjogren's place in Lithia at 10:00 A.M. The address is 5207 Ternwater Pl., Lithia, 33547.
We will gather for: - worship (let's give back to God our thanks and praise) - teaching (... practical stuff that is a bit more interactive than you've been used to!) - time to hang out (we'll be able to share a meal afterwards now and then since there is ample room - even do baptisms in the pool!) There is plenty of room here to gather close to 100 adults.
SeaKidz Children's Ministry (age 3 months through 5th grade) will be meeting about a block away. We will continue with the same great children's curriculum.
Last, we have not been alone in the processing / reviewing of what is going on and where we are going. Some of the great minds in the Church today have gotten involved in what we are up to here with the dream of launching as unique a church as Coastland.
Good things lie ahead. Scratch that - great things lie ahead.
Over and out for now.
Will connect again soon.
Don't hesitate to email or call if you have a question!

Good (no, make that great) to see things going forward. You and Janie have been in my prayers daily since our last meeting at Coastland.
i love the "the church has left the building" line!
We are going to vacation in Tampa one day just to see you guys. You and Janie are an inspiration. We are going to start Servant Evangelism with friends from our old church soon.
